Arabesque Jazz proudly presents alto saxophonist John O'Gallagher's Abacus.
His first recording on Arabesque Jazz, O'Gallagher's compositions join diverse worlds to create a cutting-edge music with a singular identity.
This sense of the solidarity between scientific method and musical expression is essential to understanding the altoist's vision, Charles Walker, JazzReview.com.
Firmly rooted in the jazz vernacular without being tethered to it, Abacus reaches into the
unknown and explores the universe of sound and structure.
A noteworthy player with a lot to say both with his horn and via his compositions
Jay Collins, Cadence Magazine.
