Francesca LeBrun (1756 - 1791) Six Sonatas for Fortepiano and Violin, Op. 1 WORLD PREMIERE RECORDING OF COMPLETE Op.1
Monica Jakuc, Fortepiano - Dana Maiben Violin

 |
Francesca LeBrun was a leading voice in the eighteenth century opera world, a celebrated soprano who sang on major operatic and concert stages in London, Paris, Prague, Vienna, Milan, Naples, Berlin and throughout Europe. A respected composer of sonatas, she must have been a considerable pianist as well, to judge from her writing for the instrument. - Dana Maiben ©1997 |
