Perched on the rim of Europe, at the very edge of what was once the known world, and often surrounded by nearly impenetrable mists of the temperamental North Atlantic, the islands we know as Ireland and Great Britain have always exuded an aura of magic and enchantment. Perhaps it's the secretive mists created by warm Gulf Stream waters meeting the nearly Arctic cold of the North Atlantic Ocean; perhaps it's because these islands were, indeed, in the very perimeter of Continental Europe and it's consciousness. Whatever the reason, the border between known and unknown, between reality amd fantasy, between commonplace and mystical lay that place on earth.
