Mari Wilson and the Wilsations enjoyed a string of Top 10 hits in the eighties, including “Just What I've Always Wanted” and “Cry Me A River.” Complete with her trademark beehive hairdo she soon became known as the Neasden Queen of Soul.
Award winning 'British Jazz Singer of the Year' Claire Martin has a stunning voice and a deserved reputation as one of the finest female jazz singers in the UK. With a smoky versatile voice and sophisticated delivery she has enjoyed an impressive career working with many of the jazz greats.
International Cabaret Award Winner Barb Jungr has amazed and shocked with her unique reworkings of Jacques Brel, Bob Dylan and Elvis Presley's repertoire. 2005 saw her perform alongside Odetta, KT Tunstall and Billy Bragg at the Talking Bob Dylan Blues concert broadcast on BBC TV.
Together they are Girl Talk - three singers at the top of their game giving their all in an unashamed celebration of all things girly. Girl Talk grew out a highly successful UK show, which is now in its seventh sell-out year. This hysterical, fabulously sung show performed by Britain's best-dressed divas is available for the first time on Linn Records.
